I have been inspired by a lot lately, it just feels like there's not enough time. I guess that's the struggle with working....it always feels like there's never enough time to play. Here are some things that I have been inspired by lately:
I went on a hunt for plastic bracelets at thrift stores so I could spice them up. All I did was stamp directly onto the green one with Staz-On brand ink and then did scrapbooking rub-ons with the others. When I was finished, I coated them with a thin coat of polyureathane to they would last longer and have a glossy look.
For the past few weeks I have been taking knitting classes and learning the basics of knitting. I have been wanting to learn for a long time but I finally decided I was going to have to take classes in order to really learn. Here's Beka modeling one of the scarves I made.
A few weeks ago I got a really GOOD deal on some retro dishes. At one time it used to be 2 complete sets but now it has some missing pieces but it was still a great deal.
When I went home for a short visit in April, Woodward Park was in bloom and full of color. I had a chance to practice taking pictures of flowers up close. These are a couple of my favorites.
It seems like jewelry has been my craft of choice lately. I bought these longer size pendants at Big Lots and I wasn't really sure if I would be able to do much with them. As it turns out, I like the way they look. :)
I am a vegan on a weight loss journey. I live in North Carolina and love the outdoors. I have a wonderful family and a fulfilling life. My goal is to become a healthy vegan inside and out.
